Australian Racing Museum & Hall of Fame

Australian Racing Museum & Hall of Fame | Flemington | Melbourne

Located at Melbourne Cricket Grounds, the world of Thoroughbred racing comes to life at the Australian Racing Museum. The museum has an amazing collection of memorabilia from the racing industry, as well as being home to the Australian Racing Hall of Fame. The museum preserves the heritage of horse racing and raises awareness of the racing industry within Australia. Resplendent in colour and state of the art interactive attractions, you will need a few hours to explore the wonders inside this museum. Hall of Fame inductees not only include trainers, jockeys and associates, but many horses as well. The most notable and recognised of these is of course Phar Lap, who is in fantastic company with Carbine, Makybe Diva and jockey’s such as Darren Beadman and Damien Oliver.
