The National Sports Museum, located in the MCG is a museum that is dedicated to Australian Sport. The museum houses Australia’s most comprehensive sporting collection, it showcases more then 3500 objects that are related to the greatest moments in Australian Sporting History.The museum displays the achievements of Australian sportsmen and women at all levels by the use of sporting artefacts and interactive technology. At the National Sports Museum you will find a number of permanent exhibitions which are on display, including AFL, boxing, basketball, golf, cycling, cricket, horse racing, netball, rungby union and league, soccer, tennis, the Olympic’s and Paralympic Games.
