Taxis can only be hailed from the airport taxi rank or through a pre-booked service from the car park. Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport, outside the International and Domestic Terminals. Expect to pay around A$50 to A$70 for a trip between the CBD and Melbourne Airport.
A $2.00 taxi parking fee applies at Melbourne Airport. This $2.00 per vehicle fee only applies to passengers leaving Melbourne Airport from a taxi rank. A $3.00 per vehicle pre-booked taxi fee also applies for passengers catching a limousines or taxis from the Premium Parking area opposite T2.
Skybus departs every 10-15 minutes between 6.30am and 6.30pm. During other times, it leaves every half hour or every hour.
All services are daily including public holidays. Plan your trip to allow enough time for airline check-in requirements. During peak periods, Skybus Super Shuttle will depart every 10 minutes in lieu of the normal 15 minutes.

As an extra service for Skybus Super Shuttle passengers, Skybus has a fleet of mini-buses to transfer you between our city terminal and your city hotel or motel.

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 0730 – 1800
What do I need to do?
You do not need to book the Skybus Hotel Shuttle to get to your hotel.
From Melbourne Airport, take the Skybus Super Shuttle to our Melbourne city terminal at Southern Cross Station (in Spencer Street).
You then transfer onto a Skybus Hotel Shuttle mini-bus, which delivers you to your hotel or motel. No booking is required and the mini-buses are available during operating hours (refer above).
You need to reserve a pick-up time for the Skybus Hotel Shuttle for your trip to the airport.
Ask your concierge to call Skybus. We recommend that you book your pick-up the day before departure.
The Skybus Hotel Shuttle will take you from your hotel to Southern Cross Station (in Spencer Street), where you will board a Skybus Super Shuttle express service to the airport.
